What kind of college degree will land me a job in companies such as Yahoo, Google, Microsoft, etc.?
I’m thinking of getting a degree in either Communications or Public Relations and Marketing.
I really want to land a job in a internet company or game company in California such as Electionic Arts, etc.
If not these degree’s what degree(s) are the best.

Communications is a terrible major. Public relations isn’t much better.
Don’t look at getting jobs with a specific company. Think of it in terms of a career itself. If you really want to work in Silicon Valley, though, you should get a degree in some sort of engineering/computer science area. Biotech is also good.

To be involved with the business side of things, I’d think all 3 you listed there would work well, certainly they all have need of people doing those things. You’re other option would be to focus more on the product, and major in computer science or graphic design.
If you stick with the business end, it might not hurt to focus yourself on business for technical companies through trying to intern with similar companies, or even taking any classes on the topic that might be available. If you can stomach it, an introductory computer science course might also prove useful to get a taste of what the other half of the company is doing.

You can also get a minor in Computer Science along with your major or even a double major to make you more attractive. If you could get a internship you could get a job before you go to college. Some companies will pay for you to go to college if you work for them a certain amount of time.
A good way to do research on a company is by evaluating its’ stock.

I will give you an answer that will save you years of heart breaking effort and research. It will save you money too. It does not absolutely does not matter what you major in to work at these companies. It does not even matter if you’ve been to college? Don’t believe me? Find a recruiter who works at one and ask them. What matters then? What matters is if you can be profitable to these companies, if you’re personable, and passionate. Don’t be fooled by college recruiters who lie to you and tell you the only way to make something of yourself is go to college. With upwards of 80% and higher going on to high education what seperates the wheat from the chaff? Those who stand out and know what they are doing.
