I’ve made a simple website to promote my mom’s new psychological counseling service. In the past, there were simple web pages that let you submit your site to different search engines. Now when I search for such a service, all I find are search engine optimization companies offering to do this for a fee. What’s the most straightforward way to do it on my own?
We are thinking about having several different domain names for the same website
e.g. let’s pretend I have a site called www.bestdoors.com and I would also like to access through the following urls french-door.net and internaldoor.com.
The question is, is there any problem from the search engines perspective in having several domain names for the same website? We would not like to drop SEO ranking.

do i have to know html to use a program like front page. does front page automatically turn regular text into html? some web hosts offer building a site by just typing in the content without having to know html. will that content be able to be found by search engines even though it is not in html, even though i would submit it to search engines and directories. If i want to generate free traffic wouldnt any content that i submit have to be in html for search engines to find?
I have a webpage, and i have submitted it to google and more search engines, but i dont know why google doesnt refresh my web description and headings when i do so? I mean when i search and found it on google the information showed by google i have already changed, the title and description. I will appreciate if someone could help me please!

I am planning on interviewing for a position tomorrow within a college office, and one of my main points is that grants are out there for the office to use, and grow. I am sure they are out there, but search engines are not a good tool to use, because you will end up with a lot of student resources, instead of for the college itself. I would really appreciate it if I could find a source of both Illinois, and Federal grants available to colleges and universities, as I am not very sure how to come across this information without the position itself. If a career placement, internship, graduate, or non traditional grant seems to come to mind, feel free to elaborate, as that is my main focus. Thank you for your help.
HELP : search engine optimizers… is there any way to load up a list of URLs in a spreadsheet and upload it to an automated bookmarking software and possibly submit this to at least 1000 search engines and 500 bookmarking sites?
