I need to place this website: http://new-years-eve.net in a relevant position in search engine results in less than two months. The site is for an international event away from the US, in New Years Eve… Please, suggestions on what to do to achieve this task?

My website offers online traffic school. What is the best way to drive U.S. traffic to my site. I am all over the PPC sellers already…and i rank high in the search engine results.
Is it better to buy banners? Or should i buy into large directories….or just have a large link exchange program?

I just signed up for Yahoo WebHosting in the past month, but it has been almost a month, and I am still having trouble getting people to my site. One major problem I notice is that my domain is not appearing in search engine results. I have tried both yahoo and google searches and don’t get any results for webpence.com, which is the name of my domain. Since I am new to this, I am not yet familiar enough with html or metatags. Instead I have tried some of the different yahoo offered add ons like phpbb, nuke-php, WordPress, and also a blogspot account. I did find an all in one site submission tool and tried it, but it didn’t seem to work except to ensure I get a bunch of junk mail. I was hoping maybe someone else had gone through this and could offer some advice or suggestions. Thanks in advance.
We are using directory submission for Higher Position in the Search Engine Results and link building for increase Page Rank (PR).
But Using same process for uploading links ( like HTML tags “< a href=” http://www.sbwebx.com ” > SEO Company</a> “ )
So, if same process using uploading links, then also google crawler algorithm is same for both.
IF I am right, then please explain difference between directory links & Website links!!

I was told that rules Google uses to evaluate the relevancy of a website included the consideration of how long the domains has stayed with the same registrar.
Would changing registrar for my domains hurt my sites positions in the search engine results?
I have a site that has done great in the search engine results (top 5 most general term in yahoo, 1st page google) that has had no flash, just basic html and good optimization. I want to add some very basic flash nothing too fancy, will this affect my search engine placement? I guess what I am asking is, do search engines look at flash as a negitive in all or some cases?
I want to know how the Yahoo Search Engine can be restored to normal when a spyware and/or other viruses affected the system. I have been downloading some anti-spyware programs, such as Spybot, to reverse the effects and I want to know what applications I can used to turn the search engine back to normal.
