I have recently made a website and would like to know how to find out where it ranks on google when u type certain words into the google search field.
I looked at some google page rank thing but it mentioned something about needing a soap key which they aren’t giving out anymore.
any help please?
Is there a way to search within a google search, so-to-speak? I’d like to find how many pages back a website is for a given search term — or if it registars at all! So If I search for, say, "Pirates", is there a way of finding out if my web page "davespiratesite.com" is being pulled up in the search results?
Does this make sense?
The company I work for just changed websites and we have taken a bit of a hit in search engine placement because of it. Until we get the kinks worked out as far as SEO, I was thinking of using a Pay Per Click ad service such as Google AdWords. Does anyone have any experience with this? Also, I noticed that Google AdWords places your companies linkback on the side of the google search (the right margin). How do you get it to be placed at the top of the search? Thanks.
I have a website (not a blog). I have inserted a google search box in the website. Can I make money if anyone open my site and then search through the google search box.
I have a blog and adsense. But in this wesite I want the search box.
I’m trying to figure out ways to help a site appear first in a google search. I was wondering if providing a bookmark/add to favorites button on the site would help the site to get listed higher? Assuming people bookmark the site of course. If not, what might help to increase the sites chances of moving up the list in a google search asside from paying google.
I was wondering if you need pay to be in the Google search machine. If you don’t have to, how does Google earn money, except from advertising?
My google search used to work normally, then it randomly started highlighting the search words I’ve typed in when it displays the results. The whole screen is full of blue, green and yellow boxes.. Its really annoying! How do I get rid of it?? Help please

I was just wondering if anyone knew how to get other search terms to come up when I enter Keywords into the Google Search box and so that it displays how many searches there have been for that particular search over the last month.
