I’m doing work for an SEO company and they want me to do link submission for some of their clients. I want to avoid submitting them to link farms since generally those are penalized by search engines, but how do I tell if a site is a link farm or a genuine directory? Are there certain things to look for? What’s the quickest way to recognize one?
Its not spamming… we submit to relevent, specific directories. The company we submit fits into the categories they’re being submitted to and help customers that actually want the services to find them. We dont’ submit to every site we see… just the relevent ones.

I am getting e-mails from a Hotmail account telling me my domain name is about to expire. Seems funny to me that my domain is through Yahoo, yet I’m getting a renewal notice from a hotmail account. Is this a scam??? Sample below:

Just real interested in what handmade items people would most be interested in having made. I have an antique 1913 white rotary sewing machine, and I have been making several different items, but only oner or two are selling well. I started a website but I do not have any real traffic…for two months..just myself..I did a couple submissions to a couple search engines. It looks hopeless, i am even offering conveinient southern gift wrapping. I think it may be the product I am offering.. aprons, diaper bags etc. I am still pretty new at it but pretty good too..not sure that I am good enough to do wedding dresses yet. I’ve completed a simple search engine submission, emailed firends and family asking them to point their friends and family to my site and also annouced it in my Facebook profile.
