Let’s say that I wanted my website to end up the first result for the term "widget sales San Francisco" and I did not want to pay for sponsored results or a third party company, how do I get my webpage up there?
I know it is important to get other pages to link to your website, but how does one go about that?
For example, if you had trouble finding information on a topic, would you pay someone to find that information for you?
Does anyone know where I can download a free filter that will let me block all URLs with certain words? I have a 13 year old daughter and twin 10 year old boys and would like to be able to block all sites with the words "adult" "sex" or "chat" in the URL. Or one that will just block chatrooms in general with maybe a parent password?

in search engines(eg:google)when we type a word similar to a previously search word ,then a drop down list appears that include words resembling the new word that is being entered.so how can we remove the drop down list to appear on the screen
I would like to be able to find the associated search engine keywords to a url. So, I would like to enter www.cnn.com and get keywords, like ‘news’,'tv channel’, etc.

i dont think the keyword in source counts as a web site gets indexed via keyword even if no keywords are within the source of the page. Somehow, I would like to extract the keywords that the search engine uses.
I have a website hosted for 4 months but no keywords seem to activate any activity. No reply, if I ask for "Diabetes" which appears in my site, my site does not come up in any browser.
